SHIPPING POLICY

At The Skin Therapy Edit, we carefully prepare each order to help ensure your professional skincare products arrive safely and securely.
This Shipping Policy explains our order processing, shipping rates, delivery estimates, tracking, address requirements, lost or damaged shipments, and other shipping practices.
U.S. SHIPPING RATES
Standard shipping within the United States is based on the merchandise value of your order after applicable discounts and before taxes and shipping charges.
Our standard U.S. shipping rates arrive via USPS and are:
Orders under $150: $8.00 Standard Shipping
Orders $150 and above: FREE Standard Shipping
The applicable shipping rate will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Free-shipping thresholds are calculated using the qualifying merchandise subtotal after applicable discounts unless otherwise expressly stated.
ORDER PROCESSING
Orders are generally processed during normal business days, Monday through Friday, excluding recognized holidays and other business closures.
Please allow approximately 1–3 business days for order processing before shipment.
Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.
During holidays, promotional periods, product launches, unusually high order volume, severe weather, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control, processing may take longer.
If a significant delay affects your order, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with you using the contact information provided with your purchase.
SHIPPING CONFIRMATION AND TRACKING
When tracking is available, you will receive a shipping confirmation containing tracking information after your order has been prepared for shipment.
Please allow time for the carrier to scan and update the shipment after the label is created.
A shipping confirmation or tracking number may be generated before the carrier’s first physical scan of the package.
DELIVERY ESTIMATES
Any delivery timeframe displayed on our website, during checkout, or in an order confirmation is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delivery timing begins after the carrier receives the shipment and may vary based upon:
- Destination
- Carrier operations
- Weather
- Holidays
- Transportation disruptions
- Seasonal shipping volume
- Incorrect or incomplete addresses
- Other circumstances outside The Skin Therapy Edit’s reasonable control
The Skin Therapy Edit is not responsible for carrier delays occurring after a package has been properly transferred to the shipping carrier, although we will reasonably assist customers with qualifying shipping issues.
SHIPPING ADDRESSES
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order.
Please carefully review your:
- Recipient name
- Street address
- Apartment, suite, or unit number
- City
- State
- ZIP code
before completing checkout.
If you discover an address error after submitting an order, please contact us immediately.
We will make reasonable efforts to correct an address before fulfillment when possible, but we cannot guarantee address changes once an order has entered processing or shipment.
ORDERS RETURNED DUE TO AN INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE ADDRESS
If an order is returned to The Skin Therapy Edit because the customer supplied an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address, we will contact the customer when reasonably possible.
Additional shipping charges may apply if the customer requests reshipment to a corrected address.
Original shipping charges are generally nonrefundable in these circumstances, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
CARRIER ADDRESS CORRECTIONS
If a shipping carrier assesses an address-correction, redirection, or similar fee because of information supplied by the customer, The Skin Therapy Edit reserves the right, where permitted by law, to require payment of applicable additional shipping expenses before reshipment or redirection.
DELIVERED BUT MISSING PACKAGES
If tracking indicates that your package has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please:
- Confirm that the shipping address on your order is correct.
- Check all entrances, porches, mailrooms, parcel lockers, reception areas, and other possible delivery locations.
- Check with household members or others who may have accepted the package.
- Where appropriate, check with nearby neighbors.
- Review any photograph or delivery information provided by the carrier.
- Contact the shipping carrier regarding the delivery.
If the package still cannot be located, contact The Skin Therapy Edit promptly so that we can reasonably assist with the carrier investigation.
A carrier’s delivery scan does not necessarily resolve every possible delivery dispute, and qualifying claims will be evaluated based upon the individual circumstances and applicable law.
LOST PACKAGES
If tracking indicates that a package appears to have been lost while in the carrier’s possession, please contact us.
We may open or assist with a carrier investigation before issuing a replacement, refund, credit, or other resolution.
Customers may be asked to provide information reasonably necessary for the carrier investigation.
If a shipment is confirmed lost in transit, The Skin Therapy Edit will provide an appropriate resolution consistent with the circumstances and applicable law.
DAMAGED SHIPMENTS
If your order arrives visibly damaged, leaking, broken, or otherwise materially compromised during shipment, please contact us promptly.
Please retain:
- The product
- Product packaging
- Shipping box or mailer
- Internal packaging
- Shipping label
We may request clear photographs of the package, product, damage, and shipping label to evaluate the issue or submit a carrier claim.
Please do not discard damaged merchandise or shipping materials until we advise you that they are no longer needed.
Verified damaged-shipment claims will be handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable law.
WEATHER-SENSITIVE SKINCARE PRODUCTS
Skincare products may occasionally be exposed to temperature fluctuations during normal transportation.
Temporary changes in temperature during transit do not necessarily indicate that a product is damaged or unusable.
However, if a product arrives with packaging failure, leakage, significant separation, unusual appearance, or another condition that causes you to reasonably believe its integrity has been compromised, please contact us before using the product.
Photographs may be requested so that we can evaluate the issue and, where appropriate, communicate with the manufacturer.
ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Orders may begin processing shortly after they are submitted.
If you need to request an order change or cancellation, contact us as soon as possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request before fulfillment, but changes and cancellations are not guaranteed after an order has been placed.
Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled and our Returns & Refunds Policy applies.
MULTIPLE SHIPMENTS
In some circumstances, an order may arrive in more than one shipment.
When this occurs, you may receive separate tracking information for individual packages.
Unless otherwise disclosed, customers will not be charged an additional standard shipping fee solely because The Skin Therapy Edit elects to divide an eligible order into multiple shipments.
PREORDERS AND BACKORDERS
If The Skin Therapy Edit offers a product for preorder or backorder, any special estimated fulfillment timeframe will be disclosed where reasonably practicable.
Orders containing preorder or backordered products may be held until all products are available or may be shipped separately at our discretion.
Material delays will be communicated when reasonably possible.
FREE SHIPPING PROMOTIONS
From time to time, The Skin Therapy Edit may offer promotional free shipping or temporarily modify the standard free-shipping threshold.
Promotional offers may be subject to additional eligibility requirements, geographic restrictions, minimum purchase amounts, expiration dates, or other conditions disclosed with the promotion.
Unless otherwise stated, free shipping applies to the eligible standard shipping method.
Free shipping has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for a monetary credit.
DISCOUNTS AND THE FREE-SHIPPING THRESHOLD
Unless otherwise expressly stated, eligibility for free shipping is determined based upon the qualifying merchandise subtotal after discounts have been applied.
For example, if a promotional discount reduces an otherwise qualifying order below the applicable free-shipping threshold, the order may no longer qualify for free shipping.
The final shipping charge will be displayed at checkout.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International shipping availability, eligible destinations, shipping charges, and available delivery methods will be displayed at checkout where international shipping is offered.
International customers may be responsible for:
- Customs duties
- Import taxes
- VAT or similar taxes
- Brokerage charges
- Customs-processing fees
- Other charges imposed by the destination country or carrier
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are not included in The Skin Therapy Edit’s product prices or shipping charges and are the responsibility of the recipient.
International delivery estimates may be affected by customs clearance and other processes outside our control.
The Skin Therapy Edit is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities or a customer’s failure to pay applicable import charges.
International customers are responsible for ensuring that products ordered may lawfully be imported into their destination.
SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
Certain products may be subject to shipping restrictions imposed by manufacturers, carriers, applicable laws, or destination-country requirements.
We reserve the right to restrict shipment of a product to a particular destination when necessary to comply with those requirements.
If we are unable to fulfill an order because of an applicable shipping restriction, we will provide an appropriate refund for the affected merchandise.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Placing an order does not guarantee that an item will remain available in the event of an inventory discrepancy, damage discovered during fulfillment, manufacturer supply issue, or other unexpected availability problem.
If we are unable to fulfill an item, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund or other available resolution.
RISK, CONSUMER RIGHTS, AND APPLICABLE LAW
Nothing in this Shipping Policy is intended to waive or limit consumer protections, warranties, remedies, or other rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Where applicable law provides a customer with rights that conflict with a provision of this policy, applicable law will control.
